Many thanks for this, Punishment of Luxury or Punilux were one of the more interesting bands to emerge out of the post-punk scene along with UK Decay, Poison Girls and The Mob to name but a few, though they didn't really "fit" in any scene - to me that is a sign of originality but for music media at the time, I think it was easier just to ignore them.
I still remember them playing in Chesterfield, here in northern England, maybe 1981 and everyone in school wearing Punilux badges the next day! Strange what sticks in your mind isn't it.
